Hello all,
I'm considering buying a single cylinder, 250 cc or larger on/off road bike. Not looking for MX or Trials. I wonder if any of you know of currently manufactured bikes of this type that weigh in the low 300 lb or even high 200 lb range? Not looking for any specific brand but I do want something other than the Chinese offerings.

If you have money to burn the Honda CRF300 (or 250) has a reasonable reputation but they still come with basic suspension. (given the RRP)
 
Not what is asked for but the Suzuki DR650SE has a posted weight of around 330+ lbs.
Intended use and range from home being relevant.

Thanks TW. I had seen the CRF 450 at less than 300 lb but I should further quailfy my specs to indicate that I don't want 35+ inch seat heights. Also, my off road use will be very mild conditions.

I think less can be more sometimes (like the DR650 which is RTW capable )

My thinking is a mild bike for mild conditions.
