Yep, no roll cage so staying attached could be an issue. An ejector seat would be better .Also don’t know if the seat belt is a good idea or bad in this application…
Well, I've heard it said that the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk's cockp[it layout was such that if you had to eject it would break your legs on the instrument panel on the way out. I never worked on any though since they were long gone before I got to my first squadron (F/A-18 C's) so I can't say for sure, but that would be on heck of an incentive to do everything you could possibly do, before pulling that handle ))I read recently that early ejector seats used explosives and sometimes resulted in serious injuries as a by-product of immediate survival....!
I repaired a full race 100cc go cart for one of the young lads at workThese high performance go-farts (carts) are built for speed, handling and grip they have great brakes and where most formula I race drivers start their career, in my younger days we have a local race track called Lakeside and was very open to track days, well it has a climb up the back and a down sweeping hill into the straight great for getting top end speed coming down to and on the straight, I was on my Norton and got onto the straight flat out doing 110 mph and this go-fart past me like I was sitting still and by the time I got 1/2 way down the straight he was way out of my sight through the next set of corners.
Later on I got to see the go-fart in the pit area and it was a weapon, 350 RD motor fully bombed, expansion chamber, 5 speed box and big disc brakes set up, as I say it was a beast of a thing and a very experience driver, he told me he had just finish building it and was just running it in and shake down test, I just shook my head in amazement.
That was in late 79 so can you imagine what they be like now.

There is always someone yearning to kill the fun.My brother in law had two direct drive go carts but the seats were so tight I couldn't get my arse in them to have a go but didn't have anywhere to go except on the road outside so really glad I didn't fit or could have been dangerous.
He loved to spend money on toys but he soon woke up after spending his play money on them and having nowhere to ride them, they weren't built for the dirt so his 5 acre block was no good and to travel 4 hrs to ride them, what was he thinking at the time, he didn't think of that at the time lol.
He now has 2 off road buggies but as soon as he jumps on them his neighbour get upset, he been having troubles with them from day one when he moved in next door, apparently they been trouble with all the neighbours and the last people that lived in the brother in laws place sold up because of all the troubles with them, they always got something to complain about.
The problem is some people retire to a rural retreat and expect everyone around them to comply to their rules, but his neighbour's are just trouble makers and now there are restraining orders on both sides of the fence, the police have told my brother in law that he should get on with his neighbour but they keep complaining about anything to the police and council. There is always someone yearning to kill the fun.
Very fast morning commute lol.Morning commute
