Good evening everyone!
A quick ride in the mountains of Kavala,in Greece with
Tenere 700. Rocky dirt roads with cliffs and
steep climbs / descents to the top.
A risky route since the rear tire is at its last.
In this place that day there was a hunter, a shepherd, me and no one else.
Western, but in Greek...!
here's the video

Πολύ όμορφο. Λατρεύω την Ελλάδα, ευχαριστώ που το δημοσιεύσατε!

Love it! Greece is very similar to Southern California where I now live. That could be filmed here and nobody would know the difference. I lived in Athens from '83 to '86. Never got up that far but I did ski at Mt. Parnassus many times.

I bought my son a '22 Tenere. It is a fantastic bike.

I have never thought of owning that sort of motorcycle. Don't they have 'fun police' in countries other than Australia. Have a look at the speedometer on this bike :

Do they have special grippy tyres ? - I know my limitations.

Here in Southern California the county team went out on 105 F day to reinforce a barrier so that motorcycles didn't go off road. Fire danger etc. The heavy equipment created a spark and it burned over 20K acres (the 'Airport fire'). Now the whole Cleveland National Forest is closed for at least a year. I guess that's one way to stop those motorcycles.

Austraila was too much of a nanny state for me, lived there in the '90s and '00's. And that's saying something. Here the park service folks give the impression that they own the land, not the people.

I think the hall plan is set up this kind of way to keep the people out of nature ...
And here in Greece , the last summer we have ''closed'' areas in the mountains for the same reasson .
By the way , i have a friend who is a fireman , and he said that 90% of fires starts from immigrants .
They found many times tires ,covered with woods at the mountains . You guess why ....

Nα εισαι καλα !!!
Be well !!!

I have a '92 TDM850 (Tedium, they're called). They're basically the "interim" version that existed between the original Tenere and the newest models. I love it; easiest bike to 125MPH since my Concourse...

Tenere now has a friend. '23 Ducati DesertX. Couldn't pass up an incredible deal. The tter Tenere's real wire throttle is way better. The DesertX's 110HP makes up for it a bit haha.

I remember the Tedium, and wanted one. Still do.
About to drop a new battery in it and take it to the big bike show this weekend.

My son LOVES it. He's only 14, but we ride all over the backroads near our ranch. He's definitely got the hang of it and has no issues with only one finger on his left hand; even with limited range of motion, he manages just fine. Not to shabby with the wrenches, too!
