Crankshaft studs

It would be great if a vender would stock replacement studs that are ground finish. ARP are supplying head studs why not crank?

A few years ago, when I was gainfully employed as a tool & die maker set my crankshaft up on a centre lathe and got it running true and then removed the studs and reamed them to 3/8" one at a time. Seemed to be common sense that if heavier bolts were available and I had the tools and skill then do it.

Surplus NAS or AN hardware and jetnuts/beveled washers can be found for less than the ill-fitting repop stuff from bike suppliers.
