Is anyone here running CP Carillo pistons in their Norton? A few of the Vincent parts dealers have gotten together to have CP make up pistons for Vincents. These have a pin height equal to stock, so they do not require changing out the connecting rods.
The are shortish skirt lightweight forged type, but it seems CP will make almost any type piston and their quality is very good.

I have not run CP pistons in a Norton, but have run them in Rotax singles racers with no issues. CP was started some years ago by ex-JE employees, and now has a very good reputation in the industry. Ron Wood switched to them shortly after they started in business, and recommended them to me as an alternative to JE. I've always had good luck with JE, so never had a need to change suppliers, but if I were looking for a new supplier, CP would be where I would start.
