I am doing a restoration on a 1975 MKlll and the wires and connection on the bottom of instrument light and ignition switch are open to enviornment and unsightly. Has anyone seen a cover to go over the bottom and retain the factory panel. I am fabricatig one out of aluminum that will slide under and actually be held to original pc. It is functional but maybe an 8 out of 10 for looks!!!!!!

Anybody know of anything different other than CNW Stuff?

I used the rubber boot from Old Britts that covers the ignition switch wires :

Part # 36

The rest of the wires are tucked up in the console

My MKIII doesn't even have the rubber boot , so I would be interested in seeing how your cover turns out Oppulent :D
Neither does mine ,also interested what you come up with. Always thought it would be too easy for ne'er-do-wells to access the wiring in there anyway
