The last two presidents winning the presidency while losing the popular vote, Shrub Bush and Trump, have performed poorly with disasters. Bush with hurricane Katrina and now Trump. Both were failed business men, too.
Time for the voter to decide the presidency, not an antiquated electoral college. The electoral voters (electors) are not bound by the results within their state. In other words, the electors can put someone in the White House who loses not only the popular vote, but loses the electoral majority, too.
