By the way, I acquired a pair of heated gloves. I am hoping to extend my riding days out to late November as long as we don't get any snow.
 
You'll be more than fine with the oil change. It's been raining a lot here lately. We've been spoiled since April with perfect weather but in the last few weeks it hasn't been so favorable. I'm hoping I can get at least a few more rides in before snow.
 
Is there any reason why I should have needed a breaker bar to loosen the transmission filler screw?! I didn't think so either. :x

Richard, if you happen to have any spare filler screws that go with your kit I'd be interested in buying one. The one I have is definitely usable, but not as pretty as it was after working on it for two days. :roll:
 
The vented one right? Do they know its only stopping oil from splashing out and dust going in?? lol.. sorry, thats crazy.

Almost any one who races does this many, many, many, times a year!!!!! ALL USE REUSE THE SAME copper head gasket until it breaks >> which is usually an accident and not from doing it too many times. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO REUSE IT!!!! Dealers only want to sell you more product. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

HEAT THEM UP GLOWING RED and drop in water. DONE!!! I would not lead you wrong!!! ask any mechanic.

Unless they are broken or damaged reuse them and like you said aneal them.
