T.C. lives in the same town as me (Kenosha Wi.), my bike came from his shop in 1974. He's a very cool guy to talk to.

Peter Egan has referenced TC's shop recently when he was in search of a laced stock rear wheel for his "new" Norton. Haver you met Peter or TC?

I've spoken on/off with TC by phone on Ms Peel crankshaft issues and gear box capacity and face to face at '04 INOA rally on Drouin issues he was involved with. TC had his triple engine even longer dragster there. He carried it in a beater chevy van and stored in shop vertical against a wall. TC him self travels to shows on his 850 with fairly and feet forward pegs on crash bars.
 
How does he get 150HP out of each 750 engine?

As an engine fuel

In a minor application, nitromethane is used as a fuel in racing, particularly drag racing, as well as for rockets and model airplanes and commonly referred to in this context as "nitro". The oxygen content of nitromethane enables it to burn with much less atmospheric oxygen.

4CH3NO2 + 3O2 → 4CO2 + 6H2O + 2N2

14.7 lbs. of air is required to burn 1 pound of gasoline, but only 1.7 lb. of air for 1 lb. of nitromethane. Since an engine’s cylinder can only contain a limited amount of air on each stroke, 8.7 times more nitromethane than gasoline can be burned in one stroke. Nitromethane, however, has a lower energy density: Gasoline provides about 42–44 MJ/kg whereas nitromethane provides only 11.3 MJ/kg. This analysis indicates that nitromethane generates about 2.3 times the power of gasoline when combined with a given amount of oxygen.

No kidding, I'm sticking with steam punk water, though am having to resist peroxide rocket passing gear. TC is one cool cat in that video how else could we ever catch up.

Sorry I have trouble believin this no matter what it runs on. Well thats at the crank im sure so a bit better still. I want to run on there dyno.:)
 
Norton can handle hi torque pressure power just not hi rpm horse power.

Hogslayer's driveline was even more revolutionary. Standard
operating procedure at the drags back then was to wing the
revs at the line, drop the hammer and leave in a flurry of
screeching and smoke, using high gear all the way. In effect,
the spinning rear tire was the clutch, as stock plates were
barely adequate for 50 horsepower, let alone Hogslayer's
combined 300 bhp running on a witch's brew of 95 percent
nitro, 2.5 percent methane and 2.5 propylene oxide.

'04 Ohio INOC rally was my 1st and was like heaven to me with God's everywhere!
TC rode in on his 850 special from States away, his crew followed in beater bike chevy van. If you can only make one big trip over next decade I think up cumming NY NOC-INOC rally will bring em out the wood works world wide this time around.
TC may be there too.
