I have seen listed UNF , and whitworth ? Or is the wht for earlier nortons , also are these ⅜ rod and were the originals steel or stainless , does anyone use S/S ? Cheers I need to buy or make two up .Thanks

I have some JS Motorsports damper caps coming , so are the rods ⅜ ? . I'm sure I will have to order imperial in .
 
I made mine from ground 10mm ground stainless. With the better quality finish on the 10mm ground stock It's possible to reduce the clearance on the centre bore of the damper tube caps (you do have to open them up a little). been using 5wt fork oil ever since :cool:
