I think I have some doggy relays. They are the O/E/N 730-1C-1201-DT Coil 110 type. My 961 is a 2018 model with two under the seat (and I believe 2 under the tank as well) .

I seen some post saying that Honda (I believe part number is 38502-MCS-G01) are better. Any one got any experience with Relays?

If so what's the best Relays to get and where can I get them from please.

Thanks.

Honda 38502-MCS-G01 relays are recommended. I'll get them from David Silver Spares.

Fitted Honda relays to my 961, no problems since

Hi Thanks for that. I just wanted to see if anyone had actually used some.

I forgot to ask did you find out if there was any difference with the 1724 & 1602 markings on yours. I have one with 1724 & 1548 on mine?

These are the ones I use : Honda part 38502-MCS-G01. $7.67 each from Partzilla. They are Omron brand made in Japan

When I swapped one of the under-tank relays I couldn't work out why the new relay didn't work. Turns out the relay had a diode in it on the coil connections and so was polarity polarised but the bike wiring was the wrong way round. This was a 2017 euro 4 and you probably won't have the same issue but something to look out for if you do.

Thanks for the heads up.

This wiring error is made more possible with the wires being single quick slide connectors.

I made the switch to these relays last year after you had found them Trevor . I replaced all of my relays with these Honda Omron and all is going well. Good find !
