Cold 79th Birthday Ride

Celebrated my birthday today with a nice 82 mile ride with a friend to the local lake. The ride started with temperatures in the 40s and finished in the low 50s F. Brisk, but manageable.

And look who came out to help me celebrate.

An inspiration indeed! Happy birthday Ken and best wishes from Aus.

One of my riding buddies is 83 years young and often blasts past me at (very) illegal speeds on his BMW 1000r, whilst flicking me ‘the bird’! The definition of growing old disgracefully! Ride on mate - it’s just a number as they say .
