cNw E-Start Transfer Gear Bearing Failure

Since it took @dobba99 s thread to drag out that a number of people actually had sprag failures, despite it apparently hadn't been previously mentioned, I thought I'd ask directly.

Has anybody experienced failure of these two smaller (ball?) bearings?

I intend to pull the sprag gear out and check/lubricate the sprag and the two roller bearings.
While I'm there, a bit of extra work would expose the two smaller bearings that carry the transfer gear shaft.

I'm not a fan of unneccecary work - like, I don't pull out my wheel bearings every so often to check them.

I’m pretty sure that this time I’m right in saying those bearings only come into play when the button is pressed, so I’d expect them to last a looong time.

When your in there, have a look at the idler gear bearing (if it has one, i suspect it has due to the dry primary)
