Clutch nut spring retainer hex head.

In the past I have had clutch nuts which could be tightened using a hex socket. Would anyone here know where I can buy them ? They are 1/4 BSF thread. I want to use them on my Manx Clutch.

You’re talking about the 3 clutch spring adjuster nuts Al yes?

I‘ve not seen hex ones before, but they would be a very good idea. As you know, Triumph’s have a similar slotted nut set up, you can buy the tool shown below from Triumph specialists that makes the job acceptably easy:
