Clutch Issue

hey all, just need a little help, I am taking the clutch out to clean all of the plates and reassemble it. I have the clutch diaphragm tool, but what is the best, easiest and safest way to lock the engine so i can get the nut and bolt out so I can insert the tool to depress the diaphragm? (My bike is fully assembled) Thank you

It should only take a few sharp taps with a mallet etc. on the end of the wrench (with the engine turned against engine compression) to loosen the adjuster locknut.
