Clutch Adjustment

I sometimes wonder if the adjuster to rod dimension doesn't have a lot to do with how the pressure curve of the diaphragm is. I can imagine there are different ones, they can't be all exactly the same, but I've been wrong before. I wonder if anyone has actually measured the pressure vs. distance on a lot of diaphragms. I know DynoDave has a curve, but has he measured a group of them? I remember in the past people removing fingers on that diaphragm, but mine is easy enough to make slip with a bad adjustment anyhow. Personally, I've always found the instructions in the 'Riders Handbook' perfectly acceptable for adjusting the rod adjuster and cable.

I have believe it or not just got back from Andover after purchasing "several components" and a somewhat lighter bank balance.... one of the parts obtained a Dommie actuating lever
The part number is 04-0029
