Clubman racing rearset rubber

Anyone know where I can get new rubber to go on the rearsets clubman racing used to sell?
 
I’m pretty sure I at least have an extra shift rubber, will take a look.

I have a set of Clubman rear sets for a featherbed (only used for mock-up) if you know anyone.

If what you are looking for is the shift lever rubber, I used a stock Yamaha RD350 rubber in the past. I believe it was too long, so cut it down to fit. Should be available to order on line or through your local dealer.
 
I do need a shift rubber, but also need the foot peg rubber. Was hoping I would be able to get a set somewhere…

Have you tried a pillion rubber? Holding it up to the Clubmans I have they appear to be a very close length.

My rearset rubbers are on pretty good, so I can't check the diameter. But the Clubmans appear close, maybe a bit smaller so you may have to wrap the rod with some tape first.

They do look close, I hadn’t even thought about using ones without holes in the end… not sure why i didn’t think they would work :rolleyes:

I think the Clubmans stack a few washers under the end of the big washer. This accommodates the length of the rubber so it doesnt press on the shifter bushing.

They have manually cut a hole in their rubber - it is rough - so you just need to cut the hole in the end of the pillion rubber, and then shim the stack so it is correct.

Now, the pillion rubber has flared ends along its length. With other rubber bits I have taken a Dremel with a sanding drum, and used that to sand down along the circumference with excellent results. You could do that as well.

Ah ok, I didn’t realize the originals were cut out (as opposed to cast) with the hole; the set I have only came with one very weathered rubber. I will look into fitting pillion rubber

Well, mine do. But I am the second owner.
 
I think France. IIRC they were actually designed/built by an older gentleman there, and that is why they became largely unavailable long before Clubman Racing finished.

I can't find the reference for that when I was researching rearsets 5-6 years ago.
