Trying to change front final drive sprocket on my 961 at 30,000km and can’t get it to budge with a rattle gun. I’m getting old and may be missing something.
48m socket
Left hand thread (clockwise to loosen)
It won’t budge with rattle gun and haven’t tried the BFH yet.
Will heat work?
Any help is appreciated as always.

Btw I’m doing both sprockets and chain.

When I changed mine the nut had locking compound on it from the factory, and it required serious force to get it loose.

Heat works. I use a snug fitting socket to shield the inner seal from the flame.

Yes , you need heat to loosen the loctite . A propane bottle torch is plenty of heat.
