Country flag
I was looking through FleaBay for some stuff and thought the prices were rather high. Then I noticed that everything listed was located in the US, which is rather less then useful.
In the Advanced search, it's (theoretically) possible to limit the search to a specific area or country, but now the EU option is gone.

Anybody else noticed this? Makes Fleabay even more useless than ever before.

Over the years I brought some cheap Norton parts even things I didn't need but the price was right and no one put a bid on it, but with all the changes they made over the years and people asking to much I no longer go there.
When eBay first started and for many years it was good but now it's a big business to make money for eBay, it's like anything that becomes big it goes bad.
I had my old Thruxton on ebay as well on a free local selling sites, I had no luck with it on ebay and was sold from our local market place (Gumtree) then ebay wanted money when the bike sold from another site cheeky bastards and told them so, didn't even get one bid on ebay and told them so, they didn't get their cut and haven't been back since.

I see. I didn't know there was an advanced EU search option not that I would have used it if I had. :)
Yes, but living in the EU as I do, often I'm not really interested in stuff coming in from outside, since PostNord charge something like £15 to work out how much tax you pay for imports. I really wonder who in Fleabay makes these decisions though? Removing the EU option is really brainless.

Ebay.com, or other? I just checked on EBay.de. EU, Germany and other options all there https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=norton&_sacat=9800&LH_TitleDesc=0&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=3

Ebay UK has an 'item location' flag, giving five options: Default, UK Only, European Union, Continental Europe and Worldwide.

Although every time I view furniture I expect it to show: Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen etc....

:)
