Can somebody please tell me where the above chain oiler clip is situated, a photo would be great, thanks David

If you are not doing a concours restoration just leave the oiler off and use modern chain lube. Much cleaner. Use a rubber vacuum cap on the oil tank outlet.

The best place for the chain oiler clip is in the spare parts box. If you've ever had one you'll understand.

If you still want to use it, there is a larger tube on the oiler that Is attached at the two holes in the chain guard with a 1/4” diameter bolt and nut going through.
