Is there a better, thicker steel chain guard out there? I keep breaking them at the attach points. It looks naked without one.
I rubber mounted the front attach point using a piece of tubing over the bolt.
Maybe thats the problem. Maybe it needs to be rigidly mounted.
Any ideas would be great.
 
I have one of the cNw chain guards, 750 style, not as flashy as the stainless ones. Good fit, no issues.

I think perhaps it does, otherwise the chainguard will only be securely fixed at the rear which might cause it to flex from the suspension movement?

If the chain oiler pipe bracket has been removed then a spacer needs to be fitted.
