Cause and effect, and separate issues.

In Australia, our national broadcaster oftrn runs talk-back. They have a tendency to concentrate on an issue without looking at it in context. The other day, they were talking about tax cuts which affect people on high salaries, without looking at taxation in general. An ecomomy has many variables which make up a pattern - they constitute a cause which has an effect which is also a pattern.
When you try to ride a motorcycle faster there are a number of variables which are 'cause', and they create an effect. wich is a pattern. One of the major variables in motorcycle racing is the circuit.

The thought of going to Winton Raceway and talking to the car idiots makes me feel sick. But I know I have to do it. I still want to make an on-board video. It is difficult enough getting everything together to go there. I think they have successfully excluded motorcycles from the circuit. In the last 3 years, they have run about 3 track days for bikes and all mid-week when my helpers usually work.
I could get in my car and go there this morning - but I won't. When I go there, I can never find anyone who is able to arrange anything. In the old days I could just walk in on a Friday, pay and ride my bike.
My mind is slowly changing, I know what I want to do - but when is not a priority. Eventually I will have to go there.
I have never liked car guys.
Broadford Circuit is run by motorcyclists and is actually worse, but for other reasons. At least Winton is safe.
