Camshafts

Hi,
Hi have some cams in good shape a part.
Three (tacho drive with the breather on drive side) have no marks/letters stamped on.
One, with no breather (1972 on) has a T stamped on a face of the exhaust left lobe drive side; what is it?
The cams did not have a printed letter for identification?.

The "T" mean sTock or sTandard.

The "T" stands for Tuftride surface treatment.

The "T" mean sTock or sTandard.

I was told "T" stands for Texas,

Tufriding is good, a type of surface hardening that is done after machining and does not affect dimensions or cause warping.
