Camshaft thrust washer (update)

Hi all , well thats bike been back on the road almost a week now and everything fine , a lot quieter in the timing case area but that is probably down to the rubber pad tensioner ,thanks again for all advice Brian

Did you end up NOT putting the chamfered washer under the gear?
