Cams and Pistons

There are several choices available for cams for the 850 Commando, ranging from stock to Megacycle Race cams :shock: . Norvil also sells some in between grinds. I'm looking for a good strong street cam grind that will work with a single Mikuni, stock pistons and stock exhaust. Anyone have a recommendation? Also does anyone know if forged pistons are available for the 850?

It sounds like you want a low to midrange RPM motor if you are going to run a single mik. I would probley stay with a stock cam and bump up the compression a little. if you are not going to rev it REAL hard the standard pistons would be fine.
