Cam followers stellite inserts

Hi Jim,
to day i have changed the gear and removed head.
No damages to pistons and valves.
It seems that valves have not touched pistons.
After closing the bike starts and runs great without noices.

Good deal. I would say you are very lucky.
The engine must have been running slow enough to stop before it hit a valve or maybe just a mild cam and deep valve pockets.
