Bronze exhaust port inserts...where to get 'em?

My Commando 750s is in need of a fix for chewed up threads in the head. I really don't want to do the studs and bolts fix like Harleys. I want to keep the stock "gear looking" anchor screw ins. I have done searches but cannot find a source to buy the inserts. Any help will be awsome.

Try Jim Comstock.
He is a member here and goes by the tag comnoz. He will need you to send your head to fit. There is machining involved

Kem,
I can install the inserts in your head. I do not thread the ID until the insert is installed so I wouldn't be able to sell you the inserts alone. At one time I finished the ID before installation but I found it was difficult to keep the thread fit correct once they were installed. Screwing them in and torquing them caused the ID to change. If you want to ship the head to me I can turn it around in less than a week. PM me for more details. Jim
