I've got mine back on the road with a re-sleeved front master cylinder, braided stainless hose and standard caliper & disc.

I find the front brake to be pretty good, but on my other bikes I'm used to running racing calipers with 'not recommended for road use' (why?? they're excellent!!) pads, i.e. they like to get warm and they're plenty sharp.
The EMGO pads I'm using are certainly adequate, but they need a good squeeze to pull up in a hurry. My other bikes might just catch me out if I try this with their brakes

All the race compound pads seem to be for the Lockheed racing caliper or the Grimeca equivalent.

Are there any other options for the standard caliper :?:

Thanks in advance

Just replace the Emgo's with Ferodo Platinum series pucks and be done with it I need nothing more.

Pity I can't find a UK dealer - looks like I'll have to go shopping across the Pond for these!

EBC Green pads have a soft compound and get good reviews, only downside is quicker wearing out.

That's a trade-off I'm more than willing to live with ;)
