No doubt this is an 'old chestnut' for many Norton owners, but I wondered if anyone has any experience of the Harrison Billet range of brakes. They apparently build something for Commandos on special order (no doubt means very expensive! ) called a Big 6.

Don't know if it is a Big 6, couldn't get much info from their website. There was a Commando on E bay last week with one on, it was a 4 potter. Looked very good, better than thore montrosoties with those whacking great support plates. Very tempted myself. I find the standard brake sort of Ok one up, but not 2 up, usually got the wife on the back.

According to the Vintage Brake chart a 41mm 4 piston caliper would be sized optimally for a standard Norton 5/8" master cylinder. I would think that getting a larger caliper, i.e., more piston area, would be preferable to downsizing the master to fit the stock caliper.
