i have always wanted to ride that area of va. Sorry I cant come this year but I will make plans for future rallies.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is some of the best riding in the country and near the top in the East! Smooth, curvy roads and no commercial traffic is allowed. For the Friday ride, we'll have the BRP practically to ourselves. We'll head down to Mabry Mill (Milepost 176). (If we did that Saturday, we'd wait 90 minutes to get a table)
For the Saturday ride, we'll head to the beginning of the BRP (Milepost 0) and go the Devil's Backbone for lunch and take a different route back.
The Peaks of Otter Lodge's (PoOL) discount and room block has ended, but discounts should still be available at Super 8 and Day's Inn in Bedford VA. Not nearly as nice or convenient, but much less expensive.
Plan ahead! There is NO GAS available on the BRP.
