Yeah man, neighbors likely can't tell if its a tractor or an aircraft firing up! For some reason i can't use center stand like that or it bends yet I only weigh ~150 lb on my 59th solar orbit. So far I've kicked em off normally ie: on tires, on center stand and by straddling facing backasswards for a gung fu swan kick in reverse, [avatar event took out R knee] and by good ole hand cranking tradition. Roll offs down hill, towed by PU or pushed by youngsters eager to help don't count do they? Ms Peel as a boyer'd Combat - started once by just turning on the key after a duck in/out a store, thank goodness wasn't in gear facing down hill. The most uncanny delightful starts to me is w/o throttle - so they just turn on idling.

Very, VERY cool Jerry, thanks for sharing ! BTW, what kind've seat is that on there ? Looks cool ... 8)

Cheers Jerry, damn that's a nice bike. Oh & yes it has been way to hot to ride lately but Iv'e been thinking a good night ride through Santiago/Oak Canyon to aliso and on to Ortega highway is in order. Bike sounds good. Thanks for the video.

Very healthy-sounding bike. Someday I'll master the starting, too (that is, if my bike is ever finished)! lol

nice!
though mine starts on one kick like that, I couldn't do that in even an open garage... too much smoke at startup!
Good to see you still have that bike JD... and thanks again. cheers, Don

Trixie gets that extra smoke on enclosed start ups, but rather more the longer she wet sumps but does not smoke at all if only a day or so between starts so comforting its just Norton normal and common. If ya really want to hear, hell feel by bone conduction to your very marrow - hold WOT in a 20x40 ft tin shed with doors closed to the cold breeze and wait till the tach needle bounces off peg so fast it totally disappears then snap throttle shut for the sound of a full orchestra tuning up loudly in their pit as imaged sonically whole orchestra + pit falls through the tin roof and rafters.

Ugh - amplify the sonics with 2-1>hollow Dunstall mega-trumpet. too Painful to do twice.
