Well as this thread title suggests it was anon starter , pressed starter & nothing , got ign lights on & I could hear the pump firing up ,I’m thinking starter motor finally worn out , so I put it in gear rock bike back & forth tried again & again & bingo it started.
But then it wouldn’t the next day until I’d done the same , I texted Tony A & it was suggested potential fuse broken/relay , they appeared satisfactory, I removed the tilt switch & gave it a shake & the bike started again , but not a second time .
& of course by now u would of twigged the cause , I parked my scooter too close to the Norton , it accidentally nudged the micro switch under the clutch lever( not visible from above ) enough to misalign their req action , bent it back & fixed .
So another thing to check before you start replacing any parts ,phew

Well, OBVIOUSLY the lesson learnt here is... don’t own a scooter...! ;)

(Although, to be honest, I thought that was kinda obvious anyway...)

Lesson learnt is that Honda 125 is over 20 years old , serviced twice in last 15 years & just keeps giving like 90/100mpg,still out tomorrow all day on commando all day

Had to readjust that once. Same thing. Remarkably, a noob like me found it within 10 minutes. So glad it wasn't more complicated.
