I've been letting Trixie stay in the big house since summer and love to open the door to the garage to peek and get a sniff of her. I've a Honda scooter, SV650, zero turn chain drive mower, '38 JD Poppin Johnny and ole 4 wd chevy PU. Nothing smells as good or varies as nicely as my Combat Commandos. The 2nd best in sound and smell is the ole tractor that lost all its sheet metal tank included. How does this strike your own senses of gear head pleasure centers? I've added a small dash of 2 stroke Beanoil now and then but just a dash or gets too strong inside : ) Trixie was a bit more gasoline today than oil after the leak fixed. There was a hint of tire cord too.

Love the smell of 2stroke smoke. Guessing castor an once per tank to get a fragrant 4 stroke bike ?

Norton has the hot old dino smell. The leaky tranny has the sulphur marine grade gear oil stink that I love so much.

My KTM has the rich exhaust on start-up, the WD40 burning off the the Ti after a wipe-down, and Chain-lube fling burnt off rear header all of which disappears leaving almost nothing when it's parked. Probably have to give it a few years before it starts to leak and get it's own aroma happening...

Can almost tell the make of the old car or truck from the smell of the interior, if it wasn't owned by a smoker.

Put some avgas in it, that smells good too. Ignites easily also.

Avegas smells good huh, may get me a tank full at local airport and a dash of Beanoil to top off before rallys to share the aromas. Old Dino Smell, I like that phrase. Smell is the only sense that goes straight to core of brain centers w/o other processors in between.

Yeah, don't leave the avgas in an unsealed container, it will evaporate. Yes, it smells right, I was following sidriley riding my 69 in the Miata and when he gave it the WOT I could smell it about 50 yards behind. It's blue too, and leaves blue residue. Only about $5.70/gal. BP 110LL is what I can get at the local airport. I think it's already got the stabilizer in it too, not that there's any corn in it.

I love how my Norton smells. 8)

edit: ...as opposed to my Jeep, which smells of 75-140
