Bent AMC shafts issues

Bent AMC shafts issues. Just noticed Colorado Jim stated he's had to return new shafts that arrived bent, ugh. This a a very sore issue to me and always though it was my fault on someone before me. What I found in mine were more twisted candy cane like than simple bowed bend which maddenly finally dawned on me trying to straighten them, that it was leading me to literally unwind them. So now I know 3 types of bend shafts, one good over tight primary tension, hi rpm clutch dumps drag launches and right out the box. Btw this is also common in Amal 32 carb flanges everyone assumes ham fisted dunces abounded in past to put down rather than good ole British quality cost.
