Has anyone seen or heard of a chain to belt conversion for any 961 Norton?

I seen this today on the Triumph Speed Twin.

I have looked into it , but no easy kit to buy and bolt on. A belt would be cleaner and no lubing on long trips I like the idea. Of course if you had a Triumph or a Harley its all done or do-able . There is virtually no aftermarket for Norton unfortunately. Most of the fun of riding is trying new products .

Exactly. No lube no mess. That’s what I like. Although I don’t have hardly any slinging of lube.
I do like the idea of the belt and a belt is less friction.

It would be easier to buy a Harley to get the belt drive ! Or , I saw a BMW F800 with a belt drive too. I didn't know that about the less friction , I thought I read that a chain was most effiecient. A Norton 961 is not the bike for you if you want off the shelf upgrades and products . Triumph . Harley , BMW etc.. the list goes on . If you do off road alot (sand, rocks gravel), a chain and sprockets is less sussceptable to damage from grit and debris .

You could always take the less eco friendly design from my 74 honda, and use a small oil drip to lube the chain... no need to worry about lubing, but your garage floor might complain...

A belt is definitely less maintenance and less friction/less hp - tq to turn.

The Norton 961 change would be easier because you wouldn't have to remove the swing arm .

It’s going to be totally custom. So how good are you at fabricating or how thick is your wallet?
