Battery issues

Spare a thought for Honda Fireblade owners.2020.
New battery costs £322.18 and you must keep it permanently hooked up to trickle charger or it will go flat over a weekend.
Even my 961 can be left for nearly 3 weeks.

And the dealer says that is normal for the Honda ?

I replaced my battery for £72 , Yuasa YTZ14 CCA 230 , got it at trade price

Isnt that the battery the bike came with? I paid 190. US 4 years / 10K miles ago. You got an awesome deal.
If I leave it off for 4 or 5 days, the bike starts ok but the digital dispaly freezes up and the trip meter resets. So....I try not to forget. Totaly impressed that this battery has lasted this long compared to my first one.
