No one here ever admits to buying these bikes. At those prices? Only fools and desperate souls would pay such a premium! So I guess despite the fact that we think we comprise the majority of the Commando population, either we don't, or not only are we a bunch of desperate fools but liars as well!
I would never have expected it to go for that much. It didn't look like it would run at all and nearly everything needed either lots of polishing at the least to either chrome treatment or replacement. Min of $5-6K to get it running half assed and $10-12K for a complete proper restoration. Unless the buyer has a complete machine shop and plenty of free parts. Of course that's my opinion.
