Summers on the run here in NZ, so you have to make the most of the Autumn ( correct term for Fall).
I called up Dodgy to find out progress on the 850 Austin Powers Special...
He lives out in the wop wops ( sticks) and its about an hours ride for me 50/50 motorway ( freeway) and narrow country roads with very average surface.
Autumn Run to Raglan

We decided to go for a run to Raglan, a surfie town on the West Coast for brunch..... about 30 miles of curves with the odd straight of 1/2 a mile of so.
Autumn Run to Raglan

We enjoyed the run down so much surfing as it was the torque curve it was decided to go back the same way.....
We stopped in the middle of no where...about 5 minutes from Dodgys Estate....
Autumn Run to Raglan

Then I was on my own again for the trip home to Auckland....but no.....decided to head up the other coast...get the West and East coast in for the day....
Autumn Run to Raglan

Then another hours of winding roads, a bit of motorway and home to " where the hell have you been all day"......I see next weekend doing chores....
It was worth it.

Worth it alright!
Thanks for draggin me out of the shed

The reason I bought another Norton after the one I had in the States was unfinished business... didn't know what exactly that unfinshed business was until I got it running out here, it was corners! Nortons love them! Not enough corners in the USA, even when you hit the Rockys the health and safety nazis have smoothed everything out

We must have ridden 1 1/2 hours with barely a straight longer than 1/4 of a mile. Great day... now to shake it down a bit more and be all ready for the Norton Rally 8)

I clocked up about 180 miles with about 20 of that on the motorway.... :D
Started easily for the trip to work this morning..... makes you wonder how many Commando Commuters there are out there???? over 60 MPG ( imperial Gallons) yesterday..... and at $2.25 a litre ( US 1.68).....this is cheap joyriding.

Glad you guys had a nice ride, I just returned from my first putt in a while about 150 miles. I like the way you have the pipes fitted on your bike.

Wow nice looking place to ride. About 23 years ago my girlfriend at the time had a friend who married a guy that was your New Zealand frisby golf champion & then moved there. My girlfriend visited them there and was so struck by the beauty of the place & how nice the people were she tried to move there. She never got to do it but she sure wanted to.

Cheers Don....sidecover as in one...the other fell off 'somewhere" .... I thought the graphic looked different to the manual.
Hawaii....hmmmm have to break out the old Magnum PI and 5 O vids and have a look

Been using it for work this week....get some odd looks turning up to meetings on it....

Always enjoy pictures from different locations, but there never seems to be enough to look at. Looks like a fantastic day to be out. I am patiently waiting for the weather to break so I can get on the roads again after about 5 months of winter.
