Atlas, G15 and Commando fork sliders

Are the alum fork sliders the same for Atlas, Matchless G15 and Commando? In particular are the steel top collar threads the same and are the steel top collars interchangable in the early Atlas, Matchless G15 and Commando alum sliders.

Hi Jim,
For drum brakes, no, they are not the same. The steel top collar is interchangeable, while all the minor threads were altered from CEI to UNC/UNF.

The early sliders seem to be tighter on the interchangeable steel collar.

Slider extension 06.0350 including threads is identical. Maybe the Commando slider has been dismantled more often? How many sliders did you examin?

Customers with earlier sliders can have tighter fitting threads. Parts I make to fit the Commando slider threads can be too tight in Atlas versions.
