I suggest we have a problem with Arttificial Intelliegence. It is impossinle to uninvent a trchnology. The major problem with using pettern recognition to establosh cause and effect, is it might reveal conspiracy theories which are too close to the truth. -

...unless the AI is built with a liberal bent...

I was wondering if the writing of the original posting was a way of filtering AI (artificial intelligence) or NI (natural intelligence) and thus who (or what) may try to respond to the question....

The problem with AI is, stops people using their brains and how many fake pics are showing up these days from AI, got a problem no worries I just ask Google, Copilot or some other AI crap instead of working things out for myself, yes call me old school but at lease I am using my own brain, its like anything, you don't use it, you lose it, I haven't lost the plot yet, hang on I better ask google or copilot they will tell me for sure if I lost the plot, the machines are taking over, I be back lol and who would we blame if they did, stupid people who can't think for themselves maybe or smart people who came up with this shit, fu ck I going out on the bike, bugger its pissing down rain again, Youtube, everything on there is right, right, ooooh no to many ads, every 2 minutes, fu ckkkkkk I can't win, everyone walking around like zombies with their mobile phones in their hands, we all need to get back to basics and start talking face to face with everyone.
I am glad I am old school and I drop around to visit old mates/friends and have a cuppa while we talk crap lol, google maps, I know where I am going and I also like being lost, have found many great roads being lost on my bike, well I am going bush/camping for 8 days, no phones or internet unless I go into town.

Elon Musk is very strong on this topic, saying that AI is a far bigger risk to humanity than global warming or even nuclear war, or anything else.

Some people are a greater risk to humanity than AI. Everything we put on the web is probably programming Google's robot. Computers are just another tool. When we learn to use them properly, tools become empowering. I have never been afraid of things which I do not fully understand, unless they involve very high risk. What is the risk that some person has no survival instinct ?
I am 83 years old and have been working with computers since 1972. I developed a system for automatic chemical analysis of metals so we could achieve certain physical properties. We ended-up with a situation which required pattern recognition, but we did not have AI. I made this video clip out of a few photos using AI. In the clip, I am riding motorcycle #18. - I really like it - AI is a very useful tool. -

I've always been accused of having artificial intelligence, not in so many words though. Anyway, can AI grind an axe? Seems it's inclined to.

yeah, but depends very heavily on who and how they are thinking. taken over by robots/AI? pull the plugs out, job done. Who is running all this … we are.
