Andover Norton is still working and shipping parts globally, if anything in this strange situation, just had a delivery to the USA sent Monday arrived Wednesday.
Some of our suppliers have shut down, most machine shops are still operating, but we have considerable stock of their items in stock which should last for timescales being mentioned by the UK government.
The sales office is still manned, but the counter is shut, we also have split the picker packers into two shifts to allow even greater social distancing than that recommended by the UK government in our new warehouse. Technical is still available but working from home, telephone numbers stay the same so no change there. We don't have access to measure parts, but any detail can be sourced over the weekend if need be
We will continue to pick and pack as long as we can but we are constrained by the working of our shippers, providing these carry on shipping we will continue to use them.
In the event they stop shipping we will carry on and picking and packing and store the orders ready to shipped in the warehouse ready for when the shippers resume business.

Please see our website for the latest on shipping, and your own country's plans for shippers. If in doubt you can ring sales who will have the latest information.

Thank you for your past and future custom, and please stay safe, and that includes when working in your workshops.

Well done.

I wish more folk would do there utmost to keep going.

Sure, some things are ‘no brainers’ and need to close. But we should try and encourage and support as much normality as possible in these times.

That perhaps answers why they haven’t replied to an email I sent about my faulty master cylinder. I’ll ring them.

Yes, nice to know some people are moving along. If we are to be house bond, a guy needs something to relieve the anxiety.
Wrenching is always good for that.

In that regard, AN could be considered 'Essential.'

Ordered some pars from RGM yesterday, they arrived just after lunch today... as i have now been Furloughed (never encountered this word until a week ago) ... I'll be in the garage tomorrow:)

Many thanks for the above support, thankfully we have the facility and a range of staff that allow a social distancing system to work well. We are though heavily dependant on suppliers and shipping agents, and I would imagine they are also reliant on us. Likewise, I would imagine that many customers would find it mentally frustrating stuck indoors knowing that they could be doing those little jobs that have been put off, it may also encourage them to stay in and not go out.

I don't have any problem putting off the same jobs in these times that I put off previously!
As far as going out, I've been anti-social all my life and now my anti-social nature is socially correct! :)
