Andover external oil filter kit with 3/8 barbed fluid fittings

I just tried mocking up the Andover external oil filter kit with 3/8 barbed fluid fittings on my under restoration 1970 Commando S but found the engine manifold barbed fittings are 1/2 inch so had to get another kit with 1/2 inch fittings. Just a heads up for the forum. What bikes used 3/8 is what I was wondering.
 
My 1970 had the 1/2" engine manifold part, I heated it very briefly with a blowlamp (off the bike of course), and the solder holding on the 1/2" collars fell off, its now a 3/8" engine manifold
