And so it begins

In the UK we now have a massive amount of people of working age that are on disability benefits
Same here. Makes me angry.
I've watched a 21yo be off college since before Thanksgiving and do absolutelyeffingNOTHING with himself until when he flies back today. Absolutely ZERO motivation. God help us.

I'm not saying that the majority on benefits are genuine
But it's a bit of an open secret that rules were changed to move people off the unemployment register to make the unemployment numbers look better
My old boss was severely disabled from birth ,he couldn't walk without crutches but he worked his way up from the bench to running his own business employing 80+ people
He made himself a leg iron that fitted into the sole of his boot with a pivot on the back
This would be unheard of these days
He died 5 years ago at 85

My wife works in a government welfare office. The number of able bodied people that we as taxpayers are forced to support is outrageous. If you can afford smokes, new tattoos, and a new I phone on welfare while lots of those that work hard can't something is very wrong.

Down here we have intergenerational families that know nothing else but rely on government unemployment benefits....with the odd family member exceptions....monkey see monkey do..

There’s a chap a few doors up who does not work, nor his wife. Apparently he’s her carer, yet she’s the one who’s out and about doing shopping etc. The boy is a bit doolally and yet they both smoke and the lad now has a KTM to piss about on, and he also doesn’t/can’t work. So where does the money come from?

Same here. Been going on since Lyndon Johnsons "Great Society". What was sold as a hand up has become a hand out that politicians use to buy votes. Not necessarily those of them receiving the handout either.

I removed my factual post contribution as it could be seen by "some" to have not complied with site policy ...just saying...
I can say this...the wrong side of the road many countries are going down right now... has NEVER worked out well for "we the people" in the end.

5,000 Swiss Army soldiers deployed to Davos to protect World Economic Forum

The WEF's theme this year is "Cooperation in a Fragmented World," which will lobby leaders to "work together on the interconnected issues of energy, climate and nature" and will have a "Special emphasis" on "gender."

Klaus Schwab, the executive chairman of the World Economic Forum and its founder, said China was a "role model" for world governance in November 2022, days before protests broke out in the Communist country, spurred by the deaths of at least 12 people in a Urumqi apartment building fire. The residence was sealed shut by CCP officials to stop the spread of Covid and the victims were burned alive.

Schwab wrote and published the book "COVID 19: The Great Reset" with co-author Thierry Malleret. The book outlines a new world order, born out of the Corvid pandemic, where governments play a bigger role in wealth generation and distribution. Schwab's ideology pushes countries out of democratic governance and into technocracies, where "experts" make the decisions for all individuals. Schwab's 'Great Reset' promotes a tenet of vague values built on equity and green initiatives known as Environmental, Social, and Governance or ESG protocols

Get your laughing gear around this

Mealworm Meat to Hit Mass Production to Help Feed the World

And so it begins
Mealworms☝
Eat bugs and live in a pod.
The globalists and freaks in the media are trying to convince people to eat bugs.
Eating bugs is degrading and that’s why the elitists are pushing them as a “sustainable” source of protein for the peasants.
According to a new study, ‘beetleburgers’ made from mealworms will hit mass production to help feed the world.
“Mixed with sugar, the beetles supposedly taste just like real meat. They could also become alternatives to sausages or chicken nuggets.” – research shows
Beetleburgers could soon be helping to feed the world, according to new research. The creepy crawlers’ larvae — better known as mealworms — could act as a meat alternative to alleviate hunger worldwide. The process uses a fraction of the land and water and emits a smaller carbon footprint in comparison of traditional farming.
To make this a reality, French biotech company Ynsect is planning a global network of insect farms, including nurseries and slaughterhouses. A pilot plant has already been been set up at Dole in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comte region of France🇫🇷
Last year the World Economic Forum promoted the EU’s new plan to use mealworms in food in their bid to reduce meat consumption.
“Livestock around the world is responsible for around 14.5% of all greenhouse gas emissions relating to human activity. The need for land – whether for grazing animals or growing crops to feed animals – is “the single greatest driver of deforestation, with major consequences for biodiversity loss,” the paper says.
And so it begins

A WEF article from 2016 says it all: “Welcome To 2030: I Own Nothing, Have No Privacy And Life Has Never Been Better”

Millions of people around the world eat bugs and insects, and have been for years.

I'm not sure what your point is.
Don't want to eat bug burgers? Don't eat them.

All this doom and gloom end of the world conspiracy shit is getting old.

Gee there is alot of 2030 forecast type predictions ... is it tin foil time :) or are they just being blatant thugs ?
I am way ahead of ya. I have had my tin foil hat screwed down tight for years. I believe the population decline is already a thing in the industrialized world. Here in the US the standard business practice has been built for years on the abundance of skilled and literate labor. With Boomers retiring, quitting or dying this model is proving to be out dated and unworkable.

I believe thankfully they implemented their plan to early...and its the boomers that are awake to this crap being inflicted on the world right now...you hardly need a tin foil hat mate ...as this stuff is in full view now....I got one for backup:)

It'd be funny if it wasn't happening!

Some good news
The firm I work for have picked up some work recently and have restarted the overtime
So it's great for the younger blokes
I know there is at least two that regularly use food banks
And this will help them immensely

That's good news Bro...there is still plenty of commercial corporation work is still cranking on down here also...residential has slowed considerably with the present local/global contributing factors ..last years liquidations in the building sector have continued with about 83 this year so far and almost hundreds last year...which goes without saying....has created alot of uncertainty for new home buyers coupled with taxflation mortgage rates and cost of living...it sucks for young families starting out.

Yep it's been a long 7 months for us
As I said it's welcomed by the younger blokes with big mortgages or huge private rent to pay
I'm lucky I'm getting closer to retirement and I don't need the overtime
Problem for me is I can not buy back the time from years ago when I worked 7 days a week and I had young kids
