Have heard many times about the pleasures of an extra inch or two but I experienced it for real the first time today.
Fitted some RGM TD bars. As I put them on I thought why the hell am I bothering with these? I had the handlebar grips not fully home on the old euro bars so as I offered them up I wasn't convinced I was going to feel the difference. Well what a great mod, it steers so much quicker - very pleasurable. Reckon I only gained an inch leverage but they are slightly higher as well and the m/cyl doesn't foul the fork nut. A good set of bars without looking to high.

You really must be more cautious of the choice of words presented up before sick old minds.... Great that things went your way... For handling I like my bars very low, but by God's mighty breath I cannot ride for more than 25 miles in that position. The same goes for rear sets.....

I mounted my bars on these offset risers primarily to get my handlebars back away from my fairing, but also to help take some of my body weight off my hands when I'm seated on the bike in my riding position. It's amazing how much the small position change has made.
