My 1973 850 project took another turn last week. I aquired an aluminum tank and sidecovers from a forum member and e-bay seller. madass140 on here and bikepender on e-bay. I just have to say, awesome. He is an outstanding person to deal with, and the product is great. SHipping was fast and packed well. I am super excited to get the bike done and out in the sun, if it ever comes back. Here are a few photo's. The aluminum is a little dirty, my boys were all over it when I unpacked it.

If you have the means and want, do treat yourself to some of his offerings, you will be glad you did.

It's been a very fortunate week. I also scored a new 12" floating brake disk for the front.

Thanks. I wasgoing in one direction, then another and now another. Also paring the stable down from 3 to 2. One stock combat and this bike.

I think the seat will make it, or break it, Personally i would go for a dark green cover with a big . long alloy hump . Single purpose of course! and leave the tank .panels in base alloy...plenty of polishing!

I have my interstate seat on it temporarily. I am leaving it all polished alloy. I have been polishing many other pieces. I am still trying to find a seat for it.

Go the corbin gunfighter bwolfie .,,or wont it fit with that tank?????

Those parts look fantastic quality...............does he also make replicas of the stock tanks in alloy?

Yes , tough to be rational at times . Could do a coustom alloy seat base to match widths . Cover to taste . Tuppance .

Yes I will be doing alloy seats in time as well as a alloy Dunstall copy or similar to a Norvil tank.
I'm fitting an alloy Interstate Tank and side covers to a bike I'm just starting to build

I planned to post a pic of the alloy Interstate tank but I give up trying to post pics on this forum

Looks great............are they available off the shelf, and whats the cost? Lots of people here in the UK are suffering from rotted GRP tanks, and well made alloy replacements should sell very well indeed!

contact member madass140 about plans of availibility. Definatly well worth whatever he will ask for it.
