Saw this today on our local auction site here in New Zealand, odd what turns up on these shores.
the $7500 asking price is around 6K US.

I got my 72 combat about 3 years ago and it was 9K NZ, over 10 is now the norm for a road legal runner.
 
With how it looks, rusty chrome, bits missing and a bent frame and forks and unknown condition engine etc, at that price I'd pass.... ?
Besides, the new paint/decals run downhill (?).

Even so it would probably still be the cheapest Commando that's been for sale on TRADE ME for about 18 months, 10k would probably be a bargin out here, most start over 12k for a botched up pile with no guarantee of any kind, but that must be the price of success
 
Oh man! I missed that one. It probably sold for almost nothing here.
