Can anyone suggest a source for a singles (ES2 / 19S), 1957 workshop manual? purchase or online

Looking at a manual for an earlier model, it says to remove the timing cover and then the magneto, is this correct?
It does not say to remove the magneto chain and sprockets, so the entire thing comes off in one piece?

I have the primary cover off and the 2 bolts that hold the transmission
Do I need to disassemble the aft frame / swing arm to get it out?

The engine, or the gearbox ?

If you intend to pull the engine to rebuild it, ultimately everything has to come off the engine...
Best to get all the primary drive and clutch and engine sprocket off, while its still in one lump.
Starting with the engine sprocket (and then clutch), while you can still apply the rear brake to hold everything for undoing.

Nortons didn't really do a workshop manual, its scattered through several handbooks and things like the Pitmans or Pearsons "Book of the Norton singles", and then sez something like 'remove engine, and proceed'. !!

Thanks, It looks like they have some sort of manual, I will order it, who knows will probably come in handy

Paragraph 31? it says remove engine and transmission as a unit! Probably a latter version of ES2
The one I found online said to remove the magneto but the bolt layout is different
I did take the clutch and primary off first, I think that would be the only way

I am going to have someone check out the insides and rebuild if required, certainly check out / fix / replace the oil pump
but also cosmetics, the bolts and push-rod covers are rusty and a fin is broken
