Not making a point just an observation.
2019 The best selling bike in Italy was BMW GS followed by the Honda Africa Twin,
Third best selling bike was the Benelli TRK501.
No problem there,Italians buying Italian,
except that Benelli has been owned by the Chinese since 2006.
Just pleased Norton has been saved,
What does brand loyalty mean any more!
Stuff conceived or designed in one country but nearly always built in another.
One more point,
Is this UK weather taking the pi; mickey..
wall to wall sunshine.
Get the waterproofs ready for when this unpleasantness ends.

The sunshine does make standing and queueing in the supermarket car more tolerable, though

Granted,
But what would you really like to be doing!
Getting miles on the Mk3 of course! Alas it's less than a mile to any one of half a dozen shops here, so to go further afield (and who wouldn't?) would leave me open to questioning, and I don't think I would acquit myself very well...

I did about 150 miles yesterday on my 74 850. No one even batted an eye. Met with friends at a local restaurant for take away and had lunch at a city park.
Back roads in Texas are great, most are posted at 75 MPH.

Coming home the long way round the other day on my Norton a police bike cop even waved. Or was it "slow down".

Don't remind me , home on the N. YORKS. coast, cabin in Ryedale, choice of routes second to none. Bloody curfew .
