A real kicker of a question

To some extent it is how many times you have to kick it. If is a first kick starter and you are old you will not be in too bad a shape. It is when you have to do this over and over that you then face trouble...not to mention being drenched with sweat!
I've told myself to park on a hill if I can. But where I live and ride it's mostly flat. And then there's that stalling in traffic thing. And having to waddle off to the side -- or get off and push it there. By the way, I've got a magneto now, but haven't installed it yet. If there's trouble it probably won't be the electrics. Expensive way to narrow down a problem, but easier starting. I'm hoping.

When I was 19 in the Army in Monterey at the Language School, I had a BSA B33 single 500. I just parked it up hill from the barracks. Easy.

But more to the point, at 76 for some reason I've been feeling pretty good this winter so I thought I might start up the bike this weekend, it's supposed to be near 70. I doubt I'll get it out though, it's just too muddy out there.

The exhaust note is such good therapy.
