I’m posting here now because, after the last few weeks of intense life changes, our friend Doug MacRae has posted online about his cancer.

He was admitted to the hospital with a headache, and doctors found a tumor on the back of his brain, which has since been removed. He’s now undergoing chemo.

He’s posted a beautiful video about his condition and prognosis, and when I can get to a computer I’ll figure out how to embed the link.

Keep the pressure on, Dougie.

Very sad to hear that news Doug.
Please keep us updated and let me know if there is anything i can do here at accessnorton to help with the go fund me etc.

Hang in there
Jerry

Doug has always been one of my favorites here on the forum, and certainly one of the genuine fast guys, but I had no idea that he was such an accomplished artist. Like the rest of us here, I'm very sorry to hear the news. I can only offer my hope that he can stay positive and continue to enjoy his life as long as it lasts. And we can all hope that it lasts way longer than the predictions.

Very unwelcome news. I,ve never met Doug and only know him through his Norton racing and seeing his photography and artwork, his website is full of stunning images. Comes across as an all round good guy.
Hoping for the best.

I raced with Doug and Kenny back in the day, and Doug is a great guy on and off the track. All the best Doug! Our prayers and thoughts are with you in the battle.
